I'm putting together my first PC build and I'm looking for recommendations on the best 27-inch monitor with 1440p resolution that I can get for about $250. I'm planning to use an AMD Ryzen 7700x processor paired with a Radeon 9070 XT graphics card. Any suggestions?

For a budget of $250, you might want to check out the AOC Q27G3XMN. It's got decent HDR support and better contrast. Another good option is the Asus ROG Strix XG27ACS, known for its speed and sharpness. Just make sure to look around because stock can be tricky to find sometimes!

I actually use a 1080p 27" monitor and it works great for me! The graphic quality with my RX6600 card makes all the difference, even at lower pixel counts. But if you’re aiming for 1440p, there's definitely some great options out there.

You can find some monitors that are surprisingly good for half your budget! They offer solid performance at a great price. If you need help with specifics, you can scan through reviews on sites like RTINGS or check out monitors on PCPartPicker for some good deals.
