Hey everyone! I'm using an Asus G74SX laptop that previously handled games like Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance on high settings with Windows. However, since switching to Linux Mint with Cinnamon, I'm struggling to get decent performance even on the lowest graphics settings using Lutris and Wine. Here's a quick look at my specs:
- Intel® Core™ i7 2670QM Processor
- NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 560M (3GB/2GB GDDR5 VRAM)
- 16GB RAM
- 200GB SSD
I'm really a beginner with PCs and would love any recommendations for a different Linux distro that's better suited for gaming or tips on improving performance in Mint. Thanks!

You might want to try Bodhi Linux 7.0 HWE. It's a lightweight distro that provides a stable base and should run games more smoothly than Mint.
Does it work well through Wine, though?
