Hey everyone! It's been quite a while since I last upgraded my GPU, and I'm finally looking to make a change for better performance and more consistent frame rates. Here's my current setup:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz (6 Cores)
- Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX
- GPU: Radeon RX 570 (4 GB)
- RAM: G. Skill Ripjaw (16 GB DDR4 3200, overclocked to 3600)
- Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus (2TB M.2 SSD)
- Power Supply: PowerSpec (550 W 80+ Bronze)
- Tower: Montech AIR 903 MAX ATX
I'm specifically looking to upgrade the GPU while keeping the budget under $325. I've seen builds with the RX 5700 XT being a popular choice with the same CPU and Motherboard. Is this still a good option, or should I consider something else? Thanks for any advice!

I’d suggest considering an RTX 5060, which is around $300 and performs really well for 1080p gaming.
You might want to check out the B580 for a budget option or push for the RX 6800 XT 16GB if you can stretch your budget a bit. There are also some solid options in the used market like the RTX 3060 Ti.
Appreciate the suggestions! I’ll definitely look into those options.
You might also want to think about upgrading your CPU to a cheaper 5600 model. This could really boost your frame rates too!
Any specific recommendations for that? I've been out of the loop for a bit.

Thanks for the heads up on that! Sounds like a good deal.
