I'm trying to reinstall Windows Defender, and I was told that using PowerShell is the way to go. However, I'm unable to type anything in PowerShell, and it doesn't show a 'PS' prompt at the beginning, unlike what I've seen in some YouTube tutorials. I'm not a developer, so any guidance would be appreciated!

I get that you're frustrated! Maybe take a step back. It sounds like you’re having issues with Chrome downloading too? It might help to troubleshoot that first before diving into PowerShell. Just curious, have you checked your internet connection or tried downloading from a different source?
Hey, why are you looking to reinstall Windows Defender in the first place? It's built into the OS, and there's really no way to uninstall it. Also, doing all this just to get Chrome installed seems a bit extreme. Who advised you to take these steps? And where are you trying to download Chrome from? Instead, I'd recommend just running `winget install google.chrome` to get it installed directly.
