Why are AirPods so much cheaper at stores like Amazon and Target compared to Apple?

I'm trying to buy AirPods 4 and noticed that Apple sells them for $129. However, the checkout process is inconvenient because I can't choose a delivery option that works for me—my apartment makes it hard to get deliveries from UPS, FedEx, or DHL, and I prefer USPS. On the other hand, I've found AirPods 4 for only $80 on Amazon, Target, and Walmart, and they all appear to be new. I'm confused about why I would pay so much more at Apple when other retailers have them at a significantly lower price. Is there an actual difference in the products or why are these other stores able to sell them cheaper?

Totally agree! Just make sure to pick from the main listings and avoid those unknown sellers. They often have fakes or varying quality.

It's pretty common for prices to vary like that, dude! Retailers often have sales and promotions happening. As for your case, it sounds like Target has a sale ending soon, which is why their price is lower. But Amazon and Walmart might just be offering a regular lower price without a sale label.

Yeah, I noticed that too! But at least I saw Target's sale ends Saturday. I'm not sure if Amazon and Walmart are just advertising regular prices or if they have sales too.

Just a heads up, they might be having some Black Friday deals coming up too, which can really drop prices. Also, make sure when you're shopping online that you're actually checking the right listings. Sometimes there are sketchy sellers on those sites that you want to avoid.

Yeah, it's because Apple rarely puts anything on sale, while places like Target and Walmart often do. Just make sure you're buying from authorized resellers to avoid any issues. Check the seller on Amazon to ensure it's legit!

Got it! If I see a lower sale price, I'm good to go at Target then. Thanks!
