Hey everyone! I'm currently building a powerful rig for a relative and while I'm checking through the components, I thought I'd ask the community for some advice on motherboards. I'm considering the Aorus B850 Elite Wifi 7 ICE since it has most of the features I need, but it's a bit plain looking. Since the person receiving the build might appreciate something more visually appealing, I'm on the lookout for alternatives. Here are my requirements: it must have an AM5 chipset, a white design, PCIe 5.0 NVME support for the main SSD slot, a PCIe 5.0x16 GPU slot, at least 5 USB ports that can operate at full bandwidth simultaneously, and a minimum of 3 M.2 SSD slots without lane sharing (only M.2_1 needs to be 5.0). My budget is around $300/€300. Any suggestions for a better or more colorful motherboard? Thanks in advance!

Check out these boards I found—they’re all solid picks! The ICE stealth model is pretty neat if you want a clean look, though you’ll need a compatible case for it. Just a heads up, the preferences can vary widely, so it's a bit subjective! Oh, and just so you know, only some X870(E) boards meet that lane-sharing requirement you mentioned.
No problem! Just remember, sometimes it’s all about the look and how it fits into your overall build. Good luck!

I see what you mean about the lane sharing. That’s actually what led me to the B850 Elite—it has the M.2 slots structured just right. But I appreciate the suggestions, I’ll definitely look into those!
