I'm looking to enhance my gaming experience in Overwatch 2, where keeping a steady frame rate above 480 FPS is crucial for me since I have a 480Hz, 1440p monitor. Currently, my setup often dips to around 350-400 FPS, even with my graphics on low and playing at 1080p. I would love to hit a stable 480 FPS at 1080p, but getting it at 1440p would be amazing as well! Here are my current specs: Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5 6000 (potentially 6400), an Asus 4070 Ti with 12GB VRAM, a B650 Tomahawk motherboard, and a Corsair 1000W PSU. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Even though you have a 4070 Ti running at low settings, the performance drop might be more related to your CPU. Upgrading to a 9800X3D could be your best bet for a significant performance increase. Also, tweaking RAM timings for lower latency could help improve your FPS somewhat too.
You might want to enable your PBO settings and adjust it by setting a +200 MHz boost along with a -20 negative curve. It’s a simple tweak and could help push your FPS higher before you think about upgrading to a 9800X3D.
You might want to start by tuning your RAM. Sometimes adjusting the timings can lead to a decent performance boost. If that doesn’t do the trick, consider upgrading to a 9800X3D, which could really help.
Do you have any links or resources that explain how to tune RAM timings? I could use some guidance!
Keep an eye on your GPU's utilization during intense moments. If it’s close to 100%, then upgrading your graphics card might be the way to go. Also, checking your Uncore frequency through CPU-Z can reveal if your RAM is set up correctly.

I’m already on this, but thanks for the tip!
