Did I make a smart move buying RAM or should I return it?

I've just made my first RAM purchase for a PC build I plan to start next year. I don't know much about building PCs yet, but I've been following the RAM shortage trend and I was worried prices might keep rising. So, I quickly bought the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB 6000MHz CL36 since there was only one unit left in stock. I mainly focused my research on GPUs and CPUs until now, so I'm unsure how good this RAM actually is. When I checked the price history, it was around £106 back in August and is now at £180. It's making me second guess my decision. I have until the end of January to return it if I find something better, but I'm wondering if I made a mistake financially or if I could have spent a bit more and gotten a better deal?

Looks like you got it for a decent price, considering the current market conditions. Prices have definitely been climbing, so I wouldn't stress too much about it. It's a good buy!

You're fine! RAM is one of those things where the best time to buy was in the past, but the second-best time is right now as you need it. Don't overthink it too much!

Honestly, that RAM is a solid choice for your build. Corsair is reputable, and 32GB at that speed is pretty good for gaming and productivity. You're in good shape!

You might still find better deals over the next couple of months, but keep in mind that prices are likely to keep going up. If you're looking for something specific, definitely keep an eye out!
