Can Apple Unlock My iPhone Without Data Loss?

I have an iPhone XR that I haven't used in about three years, and I can't remember the passcode to unlock it. I know the iCloud account I used with it and have proof that it's my phone. Is it possible to take it to an Apple Store for help, or is there any way they can unlock it without erasing all my data?

Apple's security is pretty tight, and they do not have back doors to their systems. So even if you think they can help, they're really unable to unlock the phone without wiping it.

That's true! It's all about keeping user data secure. If you want, you could try resetting your iCloud password online, but that won’t help you access the locked phone.

There’s really no option to reset the passcode without knowing it. Your best bet is to check if there's an iCloud backup available. Otherwise, you’re looking at a full reset.

Unfortunately, there's no way for Apple to unlock your phone without erasing everything on it. Even if you can prove ownership, they don't have a method to bypass the passcode without wiping the device. You might want to look into data recovery services, but keep in mind this can get pricey.
