I'm working on upgrading my Aspire XC-780 PC by replacing the GT 720 GPU with a GTX 1050. However, I'm feeling quite anxious about how to properly remove the current GPU without damaging the socket. Any step-by-step guidance would be appreciated!

To remove your GPU, start by unscrewing the screw on the left side that secures the card to the case. Then, there’s a small lever/tab on the right side of the PCI-E socket—press that down and gently pull the GPU out. It should come out without too much force!

I've already taken out the screws. I'm just really scared about that lever—should I pull it back while I'm pulling the GPU out, or do I pull it back just a bit first?
