Why does my WiFi drop during large downloads?

I've been experiencing a frustrating issue where my WiFi connection drops when I try to make large downloads. The speeds fluctuate to zero, and soon after, I completely lose the WiFi connection. Sometimes, I can't reconnect at all, and I have to restart my device to fix it. I'm currently using a tp-link AXE5400 WiFi card, and unfortunately, Ethernet isn't an option for me. This has been a persistent problem for several months now. I'm open to providing more details if needed!

I faced a similar issue after switching ISPs and getting a pretty terrible modem. My WiFi would show low signal bars, and the connection would drop whenever I started a download. You might want to check if the issue is with your modem instead of your PC.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely check on that, but I hope upgrading my ISP isn't necessary.
