I'm unsure if I need to also change my motherboard in the process or whether it might be a good time to switch to an AMD setup. Here's my full current build for reference:

Just to add, if you go for the 9600X, it's definitely more about future-proofing your setup. It's a solid option if you're looking to get better longevity out of your build. Just keep in mind the cost of a new motherboard as well since you'll be switching platforms.
Yeah, if you're planning to upgrade the CPU, you will need to replace the motherboard too unless you want to keep your current Intel setup and go for a 9900K. But honestly, switching to something in the AMD lineup like a Ryzen 7500F or 9600X could be a better choice depending on your budget. They tend to offer good performance at competitive prices.
