Looking for a Simplewall-like Firewall Alternative for Linux

I've made the leap to Bazzite, and I'm loving how powerful Linux is! Now, I'm on the hunt for a user-friendly firewall similar to Simplewall for Windows. I'm looking for something that will prompt me when an application tries to access the internet, so I can easily manage permissions. Any recommendations?

You might want to check out OpenSnitch! It's available in the Debian repositories. Not sure about Fedora, but since you’re using Bazzite, there could be some installation hurdles. Still, it seems like a solid option for what you need.

OpenSnitch is popular for this, but honestly, I'm not sure it's worth the hassle on Linux. The way Linux handles firewalls is pretty different from Windows, so you might find it cumbersome.

While it's not super straightforward, you can use any firewall along with monitoring software to keep track of your internet traffic. It allows you to see things you might want to restrict. Personally, I just block everything and allow only what I trust, but that’s just my method!
