My Mac Keyboard Stopped Working After I Tried to Modify It

I recently opened up my Aula S99 keyboard for some modifications, but I wasn't able to fully disassemble it. After I reattached the frame and connected it to my Mac via Bluetooth, I discovered that none of the keys were registering—only the volume knob is functioning. I'm really looking for help on how to fix this issue!

Honestly, if the modifications didn't go as planned, it might be simpler just to replace the keyboard. If you're not confident with the repairs, it may save you time and headaches in the long run!

What if I just take it to a repair shop instead?

It sounds like you might have a connection issue. I recommend opening the keyboard again and checking all the internal connections to ensure everything is seated properly. Sometimes a loose cable can cause this problem.

Maybe you should try something less risky next time, like prying open your phone! Just kidding, but seriously, do you have a backup keyboard to test out?
