I recently bought a 40W dynamic power adapter that can handle up to 60W, and I've been using it with my iPhone 17 Pro Max, which is about a month old. The battery capacity shows 100% in settings. When I charged my phone from 30% and it reached 91%, it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Is this charging duration typical for a 40W adapter?

That charging time sounds pretty normal. Basically, your iPhone charges faster from 0% to around 50%, often taking about 20 minutes for that range. After that, the speed slows down to protect the battery life. Just how it is!

But doesn't that mean it's charging similarly to the stock 20W charger Apple provides? Isn't that a bit disappointing?
