I recently bought a brand new Extreme Pro microSDXC UHS-I Sandisk Card with a claimed storage capacity of 256GB. However, it seems strange that, while I've read online that most SD cards show a lower usable capacity (like around 238GB), mine is only showing 205GB. This has me seriously questioning if I might have been scammed. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue? It's quite frustrating!

It's pretty common for storage devices to report less than the marketed size. The discrepancy often results from how storage is calculated. Manufacturers usually use the term 'GB' based on 1000 MB per GB, while computers typically use 1024 MB per GB. So, when you see that lower number, it’s just a matter of differing calculations.
