What should I do if I lost a small washer inside my PC case?

Hey everyone! I just finished building my first PC, and after installing an anti-sag mount for my GPU, a small washer that held a screw fell into the case while I was trying to uninstall it. I've searched everywhere with a light but can't find it. I'm really worried about damaging my PC. Any tips on how to locate it or what I should do next?

If I were you, I'd just pick up the case and shake it upside down. It won't hurt your PC, and if you don’t hear it rattling, it might have already fallen out somewhere. Just make sure to do it gently.

I’ve dealt with lost washers and jumpers before. Sometimes they just magically appear when you move the case around. If you can’t find it near the mobo or GPU, it’s probably either gone or in a spot where it won't cause issues.

Don’t stress too much; it's unlikely to cause any major problems. Just make sure to check if it's behind the case or on the floor. Turning the case upside down is usually the best way to find those little pieces.
