I'm using an ASUS Vivobook and I've noticed something strange with my storage. I cleared out about 7GB of space, but when I came back after being AFK, it showed that I had 0 bytes left. I've never installed anything new, and after deleting files, I refreshed 'This PC' and saw the storage decrease by itself to 0 bytes. I'm worried this might be malware. What can I do to figure out what's eating my storage and how to remove any potential malware?

Try using tools like WizTree or WinDirStat to analyze your disk space. Sometimes, a huge portion of space can be taken up by Windows updates, which tend to expand when installed. You might also want to check for large log files if you've run into any errors, as they can balloon unexpectedly and eat up your space too.
I've seen a corrupted file in Firefox create massive error logs in the past. If that happens, it could fill up a lot of space quickly!
Yeah, that sounds frustrating! Make sure to check your 'Program Files' and 'Temp' folders too. They might be hiding some files that are filling up space without you realizing it.
Good idea, I'll look into those folders!
Also, check the recycle bin. Sometimes we forget about what's still waiting to be permanently deleted.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot!
