I'm currently in the process of buying parts for my first PC and I plan on using a 9070 XT graphics card along with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor. I'm wondering if it's worth spending a bit more on a better motherboard, as I have selected the Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX ATX AM5 for my build. What do you all think?

You're going to be just fine with that motherboard. It's a good fit for your components!
The Gigabyte B650 Eagle is a solid choice! It'll handle your setup perfectly, so happy building!
I’ve got a similar setup with a more budget-friendly Asrock B650M model, and it works great for me without any missing features. Sometimes, you don’t need to go all out on the motherboard if the basics suit your needs!
The motherboard is definitely important, but if you're primarily gaming, even a basic one can do the job. Just ensure it has the connections you need and good compatibility with your parts. If it's just everyday use, you should be just fine with that board!
Honestly, the B650 is a great board for your needs. Just make sure to check how many VRMs it has; you want around 8 or more for a CPU like the 7800X3D to avoid bottlenecks. If you need specific features like USB-C ports or more M.2 slots, you might want to consider other options, but for general use, it's a smart buy!
For sure, if you’re not pushing the limits with high-end use cases, that board should serve you well!

Totally agree! A reliable brand that meets your requirements is key. I’ve had great experiences so far with motherboards like that.
