I'm having an issue where every time I attempt to download Fortnite onto my External HDD, the files end up getting corrupted after a while. I'm looking for some help to fix this problem. Any suggestions?

Have you tried switching out the USB cable? Also, what brand and model of HDD are you using, and how much did you pay for it? You can run a test with a tool like H2testw to ensure it's not defective or a fake drive. If it’s still giving you trouble, you should consider returning it since it should still be under warranty.
How old is your HDD? Sometimes, newer drives might be fine, but if it's older, it could have issues.
It's only a few days old.
You might want to install CrystalDiskInfo to check your HDD's health. It can alert you to any warnings or issues with the drive.

I'll give the app a try and swap the USB cable. The HDD was around $20.
