I'm planning to switch from Windows 11 to Linux, specifically considering Fedora or Mint (leaning towards Fedora). As a digital artist, I'm really interested in finding alternatives to Adobe programs that aren't GIMP and can run natively or with a compatibility layer. I'm comfortable using Blender, but I need some solid options for other software.

You might consider changing the title of your post to focus on alternatives to Adobe programs without mentioning GIMP. Also, trying out a few different distros before settling on one could be a good idea!
I've been using Krita for about ten years now, even back on Windows. It's an awesome open-source program for digital illustration and I actually think it's better than GIMP for image manipulation. If you're into illustration, definitely give Krita a shot! Also, I’ve heard Clip Studio Paint works well under Wine, but I haven’t tried it myself.
I wouldn’t recommend using Wine. Could you specify which Adobe apps you're trying to replace? There are Linux-native options available for most of them!
You might want to give Winboat a try; it sometimes runs Windows apps better than Wine.
When you mention alternatives to Adobe, which specific programs are you looking for?

Photoshop, actually. I have everything else sorted out.
