I'm having issues with my Brother MFC-J805DW printer. I can scan letter-size documents without any problems, but when I try to scan legal-size, it keeps giving me an error. The letter-size scans are too small for my needs, especially since the music I want to copy gets cut off. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?

Have you tried taking a photo of the document with your phone instead? You could then edit the image to enhance the contrast and clarity. It might be a good workaround if your printer isn't cooperating.
I appreciate the suggestion, but I can guarantee that a phone pic won't work well for me. It'll be too blurry to read, especially with my vision problems. The text becomes hard to make out under certain lighting situations.
