Hey everyone, I'm having a major issue with my PC being extremely slow after not using it for about two weeks. Windows takes forever to start up, and it even struggles to render text. I've tried running HWMonitor, but it wouldn't open at all. I've already replaced the thermal paste on both the CPU and GPU, but that didn't help the situation. I also swapped out the RAM, checked the CPU (one pin was bent, but I managed to fix it), replaced the hard drive, attempted to boot from a USB, checked all the PSU connections, and even reset the BIOS. Nothing seems to be working. Does anyone have suggestions on what else I could try?

Have you tried checking your BIOS? Enter it and see if you can check the CPU frequency, temperature, and voltages. It might give you some clues about what's going on.
Make sure to check the Task Manager if you can access it. Are there any updates running in the background? Also, check the HDD light for activity. Try unplugging any extra USB devices, like game controllers. If possible, boot your PC using a Windows install USB or a Linux live USB to see how it performs there.
