Is it time to replace my CPU’s thermal paste?

Hey everyone! I noticed my CPU temperature was soaring to nearly 90°C while Windows Defender was running a full scan, but my liquid temperature stayed around 25°C. That doesn't seem normal to me. Do you think I should replace the thermal paste on my CPU, or are these temperatures okay? Here are my specs: MSI B650 Gaming Plus Wifi motherboard, AMD Ryzen 5 7600X CPU, 32GB G-Skill Trident Z5 Neo RAM, and an NZXT Kraken Elite 240 RGB AIO cooler. I'm not using a graphics card right now, by the way. Thanks for your input!

95°C is actually the maximum safe temperature for the Ryzen 5 7600X. If you're running on full turbo speed and staying below that, it suggests your cooling setup is doing its job. You might want to check the BIOS settings to manually adjust your temperature targets and try using the curve optimizer to lower heat output while still gaining some speed. It's worth a shot!

That sounds good! I think my setup is fine too. Thanks for the tips! I'm definitely going to check my settings tomorrow.
