How can I backup my iPhone 15 if the screen is unresponsive?

I'm in a bit of a bind! My iPhone 15 screen suddenly stopped responding, and it died right when I was trying to access it. I need to back it up because I have crucial photos stored on it. The problem is, I'm not logged into my phone, so I can't connect it to my PC or any other device. Any ideas on how I can recover my important files without buying any software?

Have you tried doing a hard restart? It might help get your screen working again. For your iPhone 15, quickly press the volume up button, then the volume down button, and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo. Once it's back on, you might be able to access your phone and backup those photos. Also, check if you have your Apple Watch connected; that might help you unlock your phone if it's still responsive to some extent.

If you can't get your screen to respond at all, and you're not logged in, unfortunately, that makes things tricky. Consider borrowing a friend's iPhone or a Lightning cable to use with iTunes on a computer. If it's connected to iCloud, you might have some of your photos automatically backed up there, but note it won't help with the locked state of your phone.
