I just finished upgrading my PC with some new parts and plugged everything in, but now my monitor isn't receiving any signal. I made sure all the cables are connected correctly. I'm specifically concerned about the cable I used for my graphics card. I recently bought an MSI MAG A750GL PSU, and it came with PCIe cables that have a 6+2 pin on one end and a 7 pin on the other. I connected the 6+2 to the GPU and the 7 pin to the PSU, but I'm not sure if that is causing the issue. Any advice on what I should check?

It sounds like you've done a lot of the right things already! One thing to keep in mind is that the power supply unit (PSU) has ports that can serve either CPU or PCIe cables. If you're using the right type of cable for the GPU and it's plugged in correctly, that shouldn't be the issue. Just double-check where you're plugging everything in, as sometimes cables can look similar but aren't interchangeable.
Make sure all your components are properly seated, especially the GPU and RAM. You mentioned that everything seems fine, but it’s easy to miss something in the excitement. If the GPU is secured and the cables are properly connected, it might be worth resetting your BIOS or trying a different PCIe slot if you're still having issues.
Good call! Sometimes a simple reset can resolve weird issues. If all else fails, checking the PSU's manual for specific cable connections could shed some light too.

I agree, and you may want to check your GPU seating too. Sometimes it can look like it's in place but isn’t fully seated. Also, try a different monitor or cable if you have one, just to rule out those variables.
