Hey everyone, I need some help. I was using my PC like normal earlier today, but after leaving it off for a couple of hours and turning it back on, everything became really slow and I started having issues with my audio. Usually, my CPU doesn't go past 50%, even when I'm multitasking, but now it spikes to 80% or higher with just one app running. It's lagging and giving me low FPS. I've checked for malware and viruses but found nothing, and Task Manager shows high CPU usage only when I open a game or app. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be causing this or how I can fix it? I'm on Windows 11 with an AMD Ryzen 9. Thanks!

Have you checked if your CPU cooler might be broken? If it's not working properly, it can lead to overheating, which makes your CPU throttle and run slower. Just a thought!
I had a similar issue and managed to fix it by reinstalling some drivers and then restarting my computer. It took a bit of troubleshooting, but it worked in the end. Might be worth a shot for you too!
Not sure how to check that. Any tips on what to look for?
