PC Not Booting from NVMe After Windows Installation

I recently bought a new motherboard for a friend since his old one was broken. I tested all his parts in my PC, and everything worked fine. Here's what we have:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
- RAM: 16GB 3200MHz
- Motherboard: ASRock B550M-HDV AMD AM4
- GPU: Gigabyte RX5700XT
- PSU: EVGA 650W

When we tried to install Windows on the NVMe drive, it recognized the drive during installation, but afterward, it disappears from the boot priority list. Interestingly, it works perfectly when we install Windows on a regular hard drive. We've tried multiple NVMe drives, including a 1TB Samsung EVO 970, a 512GB Teamgroup NVMe, and a Western Digital Blue 1TB NVMe, but they all have the same issue.

It sounds like this could be a BIOS setting issue. Have you checked if the Compatibility Support Module (CSM) is set to disabled? NVMe drives usually need to be in UEFI mode to boot properly. If CSM is enabled, it might be forcing your motherboard into a legacy mode that can't access the NVMe boot partition. Try disabling CSM in the BIOS settings and saving the changes. This should make "Windows Boot Manager" show up in your boot priority list.

I did check that last night and confirmed that CSM is already disabled, but thanks for the tip!
