Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a decent gaming headset for my PC, and I have a budget of about $50 USD (which is roughly the local price here in Egypt). I use it for different activities: about 50% for gaming (mostly FPS and open-world titles), 30% for music (I really enjoy strong bass and rich sound), and 20% for watching movies and shows.
Right now, I'm considering two options: the **Fifine H9** (which has some decent reviews and is priced at around $38) and the **XPG Precog Studio** (which is slightly pricier at around $44, but it's an older model and I couldn't find many reviews on it). My main priorities are good overall sound quality, strong bass (especially for music), a decent mic for casual chatting, 7.1 surround support, and comfort for long gaming sessions. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, you might want to skip the gaming brands for audio. A lot of the time, music-oriented headphones offer better sound quality. You could look at brands that specialize in audio instead, although that might mean no mic. But the sound would be worth it!
Why not just go for something like AirPods Max? They have awesome sound, but I get that they’re a bit over budget unless you can find them on sale.
Consider checking RTINGS for budget headphone reviews. They have a good list of what’s available and can help you choose based on great sound quality!
Their reviews are solid! Just make sure to check the gaming specific features since you want good mic performance too.
Yeah, but you need a mic for chatting while gaming. That's kind of essential.
