Hey there! I'm new to building my own gaming rig since I've been using a gaming laptop for a few years. I'm ready to make the switch and buy a gaming PC. I'm curious about which websites are trustworthy to purchase from—I've heard NewEgg is reliable, but I'd love more insights. Also, I have a budget of around $1,000 to $1,200 and I'm wondering what specifications I should aim for. Any advice would be super helpful!

With your budget, you could likely snag a prebuilt PC featuring a 5060 graphics card and an i5 or even a 7800x3d. I just bought an iBUYPOWER system with a 7800x3d and 5070 from Walmart for around $1400, which was a great deal. You should check out various retailers for the best price!

Thanks for the tip! I found a couple of prebuilt options at Best Buy: one with an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F and a 5060 Ti, and another from iBUYPOWER with an Intel i7 and a 5060. Are these worth their price?
