I'm on the hunt for some new monitors, specifically for gaming at 2K resolution, and I'm leaning towards 27" displays. My wife needs a couple for her work and gaming, and I'll be focusing strictly on gaming. I'm aware there have been complaints about text clarity with OLED models, so I'd appreciate some insights. I've found a few options, including an AOC Mini LED 2K model at $230, an AOC OLED 2K for $370, and an Acer Predator 4K IPS for $330, among others. Are there any suggestions for monitors under $400? I'm curious whether to go for Mini LED or OLED, and I'd love to hear what others think or if you have any additions to my list!

I've been using the AOC Q27G3XMN Mini LED VA monitor and it's fantastic! The color accuracy is impressive, with deep blacks that rival OLED monitors, plus there's no noticeable latency. It avoids common issues like black smearing that you tend to see with other VA panels. For the price, it's hard to beat!
I just got this monitor myself this week, and I'm already loving it!

That's great to hear! I noticed that even at its regular price of $300, it consistently ranks above many $400-$500 models. Have you seen any smearing during gameplay? I'm looking to upgrade from a cheap 4K model.
