I'm using Windows 10 on my 2017 iMac (21-inch) via Boot Camp, and it's running really slowly. Games like Half-Life stutter a lot, and Doom (the DOS version) doesn't even run. I previously discussed this problem with someone who suggested it might be a hard drive issue. A tech-savvy friend mentioned the same thing. I checked the hard drive's health status using CrystalDiskInfo, and it looks good, so I'm a bit confused. Here are my specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-7360U
- GPU: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640
- RAM: 8GB
- Storage: 1TB 5400 RPM HDD
Can anyone help me figure out why it's so slow?

Your iMac is about 8 years old, and it's equipped with a pretty slow 5400 RPM mechanical hard drive, which is a major bottleneck. Plus, the integrated graphics aren't very powerful. If your games can't run even on low settings, it might be time to consider an upgrade. SSDs can make a huge difference in speed!
I checked the GPU, RAM, and CPU usage, and they seem fine. I remember my system performing well in February, handling games like Geometry Dash and Rec Room. I think the HDD is the real issue now.
