How should I clean old AMD drivers before installing my new GPU?

I'm a bit lost about managing my AMD drivers. I plan to use AMD Cleaner to remove old drivers, but I'm not sure if I should do this before or after installing my new GPU. Just to clarify, I've never had a dedicated GPU in my PC - I've only been using the default AMD drivers that came with AMD Adrenalin.

If you're not currently using an AMD GPU, you should definitely install Revo Uninstaller to completely remove all traces of the AMD drivers. If you are using an AMD GPU, you can just reinstall the new drivers over the old ones without any issue. It doesn’t matter much whether you put in the GPU first or clean the drivers first; nothing will get damaged either way.

What kind of GPU are you installing? If you’re planning to keep using your integrated GPU, it’s best to keep the AMD drivers as they are. If you’re installing a modern AMD GPU like the RX 7600, it will work fine with those existing drivers. However, if you switch to an Nvidia GPU and won’t be using the integrated graphics, then using DDU for a clean uninstall of old drivers is a good call.

What do you mean by 'continue using it'? If I've got a dedicated GPU, how could I still use the integrated GPU?

Also, this is my first dedicated GPU, and I'm excited to install the RX 7600!
