Is $429 a Good Price for 64GB of RAM Right Now?

I'm considering a new build and I've found a deal on 64GB of Corsair DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM at Microcenter for $429. I just want a second opinion—does this seem like a solid price given today's market? I'm worried about RAM becoming a bottleneck in my system soon.

Definitely check platforms like Facebook Marketplace too, as new RAM can be overpriced right now because of supply chain issues linked to AI tech. You might find a better deal there, although it seems rare these days.

RAM prices are absolutely crazy right now! Just a few months ago, things were much cheaper, and now you're looking at a decent deal considering the current rates. If you need 64GB, I’d say go for it before the prices climb even higher.

Yeah, I bought a similar kit in September for only $140! Now it's insane how much more you have to pay. It seems like RAM is becoming the most expensive part of builds these days.

Honestly, if you absolutely need 64GB for your build, now is the time to buy. DDR5-6000 CL30 is a solid choice, but prices are likely to keep rising, so getting it sooner rather than later is wise.

I think it's a good price for today. However, 64GB is a lot for gaming; 32GB is usually sufficient unless you're doing heavy multitasking or content creation. Just keep in mind, these prices have been fluctuating wildly lately.
