I've recently noticed a crack in the corner of my iPad screen, and now it's developed thick, fuzzy vertical white lines whenever I press on that area. I lent it to my sister, and when she returned it, the lines wouldn't disappear unless I lifted the corner of the screen. Even though it's hard to see things clearly, I've been using it. Unfortunately, tiny pieces of glass started breaking off, and a friend cut her thumb on the lifted screen. When she touched the corner, a bunch of black and white horizontal lines appeared on the screen, and now there's a black splotch at the corner along with some colorful lines at the bottom. It still responds to touch, but the display is mostly just lines now. Is there any hope for saving it?

I'm not sure why you decided to keep using it when you saw it was breaking. Maybe sending it for repair sooner would have been a better option!
Honestly, it might just be easier and cheaper to get a new one at this point. It could save you a lot of hassle in the long run.
Looks like you're going to need to replace the screen, which can be pretty pricey. What model of iPad are you using?

Yeah, I guess I thought it would hold for a bit longer.
