I'm having a frustrating issue where I can access the internet just fine, but I can't connect to any game servers—and when I do manage to get connected, I usually lag out. This started about three days ago. Sometimes it's all good, but most of the time I hit a wall. I've tried a few games like Roblox, Call of Duty 7, and Marvel Rivals. With Roblox, I can get to the app but just get stuck in a loop when trying to join a game. Call of Duty allows me to join but then drops me, and with Marvel Rivals, I see an 'error code 10' occasionally. If anyone has suggestions on what I can do, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

One thing you might try is enabling UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) in your router settings. It helped me with connection issues in games in the past, so it could be worth checking out!
Do you use a VPN? Sometimes that can interfere with game connections. If you're using Norton 360, I would recommend turning that VPN feature off to see if it makes a difference.
First off, have you tried rebooting your modem and router? Sometimes a simple power cycle can fix weird connection problems. Also, if you're using fast boot or hibernation on your PC, try doing a full cold boot instead to see if that helps.
I did a cold boot and rebooted my modem and router, but it didn't change anything. I'm going to detail what else I've tried.

I had the VPN on before but turned it off thinking it might be the issue. Sadly, the problem is still there.
