Hey everyone! I'm currently using a 1000w Cougar GX power supply that I bought back in 2017. With the recent buzz around AMD and Nvidia, I'm thinking about upgrading to an RTX 5070ti for a few more years of gaming. Do you think my existing PSU is sufficient for this new graphics card, or should I look into upgrading?

Your 1000w PSU should be more than enough for the RTX 5070ti, unless your CPU is an absolute power hog, like around 700w. But generally, 1000w gives you a good safety margin.

So, I just need to keep an eye on the wattage, right? Is that all that matters?
