I have a Cisco modem (not sure of the exact model as it was here when I moved in) paired with an Asus RT-AX53U router. The modem doesn't have WiFi capabilities, so I need the router. Recently, I unplugged both the modem and the router to rearrange them for more space. After plugging them back in (modem first), the internet light keeps blinking and I can't establish a connection. I've also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the data cable from my ISP, but it didn't help. The cable is a bit bent in places but has never been an issue before. Does anyone have an idea of what might be causing this problem? Any assistance would be appreciated!

It sounds like there might be a connection issue or something with the modem itself. If you can, take a photo of the lights on your modem; those can give us clues about what's going on. Also, check the bottom of the modem for the model number, just to be sure we're looking at the right specs. Sometimes, a hard reset on the modem might help if it’s stuck in a blink-loop!
I found the model number—it's E1200. Do you think that makes a difference?
