How Can I Revive My Lagging Redmi Note 12 5G?

Hey everyone! I've had my Redmi Note 12 5G for exactly 2 years now. It used to run super smoothly—like, the 120Hz refresh rate felt buttery. But lately, it's been lagging a lot, taking forever to open apps, and the battery drains way too fast. I even tried restarting it, but nothing changed. As a middle class student, I'd really like to get some more years out of this phone. Any tips or tricks to revive it?

I had the same problem with my Redmi Note 10S after four years. It's a bummer! Have you thought about checking for any software updates or maybe performing a factory reset? Sometimes that can help clear up some lag issues.

Yeah, I’ve tried those, but it still feels slow after 2 years.

I’d say getting a new battery would be your best bet! Over time, batteries can lose their capacity and lead to lag and slower performance. It could give your phone a fresh lease on life!

That's true, but what about the performance? It's still lagging badly!
