I'm planning to buy a 1660 Super OC edition since my current GPU is failing. I'm saving for a new PC that will cost me around $1800, but it will take me 3-4 months to gather the funds. In the meantime, I need something that can handle gaming at 1080p. I've been experiencing artifacting with my current GPU. Is the 1660 Super a good temporary option, or should I consider something like the 5060 instead? Thanks for any advice!

The 1660 Super is pretty outdated and lacks RTX features. The 5060 is also not a great value for what it offers. I recommend going for the 3060 12 GB instead; it’s more recent and provides better performance at a reasonable price compared to the 5060.
Before I can give a solid suggestion, I need to know a few things: where are you located, what’s your budget for the new GPU, and do you have a list of your current PC build?
I'm in the USA, with a budget of around $1,000. I can create a list if needed.
And what's the price for the GPU you're considering?

Thanks for that! I saw Walmart has it for about $308.
