I recently pulled my PC out of storage after not using it since 2020. It has an RTX 2060, which I've learned is pretty outdated for gaming nowadays. I'm looking to get back into gaming and need some advice on how to upgrade. I know I should consider moving to a newer graphics card, like the 30-series, but I'm not sure about the costs and what else I might need to upgrade. Will I need a new power supply? More RAM? A bigger case? I'm still pretty new to this whole thing, so any guidance would be appreciated!

To help you out, I’d need to know more about what games you play, your monitor resolution, your budget, and how long you want this setup to last. It sounds like you’re looking to play games like Apex, DBD, Destiny 2, and modded Elden Ring, right? Also, what’s your monitor’s refresh rate and resolution? Knowing these will help us give better advice!

I play those games and my monitor runs at 144hz, up to 1440p. I’m in Ohio and my upgrade budget is around $700, but I'm not very familiar with future proofing.
