Should I Upgrade to a 5060 Ti with My Current Setup?

I'm considering upgrading my graphics card to the 5060 Ti, but I want to know if it's a good idea given my current system. Here's what I've got:

- Ryzen 5 3500
- Asus ROG B55E Gaming motherboard
- 16GB DDR4 3200 RAM
- FSP HYDRO K 700W PSU
- My trusty GTX 1050 Ti, which I've had for nearly ten years!

Will the 5060 Ti work well with my CPU, or might I run into bottlenecks? If I do need to upgrade my processor, what would you recommend? Also, is there a chance I'd need to do a BIOS flash on my motherboard for this upgrade? Thanks in advance for your help!

I agree with GamingGuru88! The Ryzen 5 5600 or 5600X would be a fantastic upgrade if you choose to. You might need to flash your B550 motherboard, but it’s generally good practice to do so with major upgrades like this. Just make sure you're definitely getting that 16GB version of the 5060 Ti if you go for it!

Upgrading to a 5060 Ti with a Ryzen 5 3500 should work pretty smoothly, especially if you pick the 16GB version. If you want to optimize performance, consider getting a Ryzen 5 5600 or a 5700 series processor, though that's not strictly necessary. Just a heads up, if you decide to go for the 9060 XT, it functions better with a PCIe Gen 4 motherboard. Also, if you do upgrade, a BIOS update isn’t a bad idea, just to ensure everything runs well.
