Is $2200 a fair price for this PC setup?

I'm looking at a computer setup where the seller is asking for $2200. The components include a Ryzen 9 9800X3D processor, an ASUS TUF B650 motherboard, a Kraken 360 AIO cooler, an MSI 2TB NVMe SSD, a 1000W Corsair Shift power supply, a Corsair case, and an ASUS TUF 5080 GPU. Do you think this is a good deal?

Does this system include RAM? That's a key component to consider before you make a decision.

I’m checking with the seller now because I didn’t even notice that! Thanks for the heads-up.

It seems like a decent deal to me! You’re getting some solid components for that price. Just make sure to check if it includes RAM, though.

Should I try to negotiate a little on the price?

A good way to assess this is by checking the prices for each individual part. If the total adds up closely or is lower than buying new, then it’s a good deal. If the seller isn’t a close friend, expect to pay around 80-90% of the new prices. If they are a friend, you might score a better price by chatting with them.

Not fully convinced without knowing the RAM situation. Did you find out if it has DDR5?

Yes, it actually has a G.Skill 6000 32GB kit, so that’s a plus!
