I have a TCL 65C755, and yesterday my internet speed on the TV dropped from 300 Mbps to just 50 Mbps. The issue seems to be only with the TV itself, and I'm not very tech-savvy, so I'm at a loss about what to do or check next.

A good first step is to power cycle both your TV and your modem/router. Just unplug them for a minute, then plug them back in. It can sometimes fix connectivity issues.
If resetting didn’t help, check your TV’s network settings. Make sure it’s connected to the right Wi-Fi network and that the signal is strong. Also, try running a speed test directly from the TV if it has that option.
Another thing to consider is interference from other devices. Check if anything has changed in your environment recently – maybe new electronics are interfering with your Wi-Fi signal.
