I'm gearing up to build my very first PC and could really use some guidance! I've put together a part list, but I'm unsure if it's a good selection. Here's the link to my list: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8ycMqH).
I'd love to hear your thoughts! Are there any better alternatives you would recommend? I'm not too concerned about colors right now since I might customize that later. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm completely new to this and feeling a little lost!

If you’re comfortable with the price, your current build is good, but you can definitely save on the PSU and RAM. You might want to consider getting a Gigabyte Aorus Elite motherboard; it’s just as capable but a bit cheaper. Also, check out PSU ratings from Cybenetics, as they provide good assessments. And for motherboard comparisons, Hardware Unboxed has great videos on YouTube!
Your list has a lot of Asus parts, which may not be necessary. While Asus isn't terrible, you shouldn't focus too much on one brand. Also, consider switching to CL36 RAM instead of CL30 to save some cash—it's almost as fast but way cheaper! And for storage, there are better SSD options available for less money that offer great performance. Check out this list that totals almost $200 less and is still very performant: [Updated Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HHNywY).
I didn't realize I was investing so much into Asus! I just picked what was easy to access. Thanks for the recommendations!
Good to know! I'll definitely look into those brands and avoid Asrock for the motherboard.

I appreciate the tips! I'll make sure to check those sources when I'm ready to buy.
