I'm dealing with a laptop that randomly crashes with a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) about once or twice a day, but I can't figure out why. The hardware seems fine; I've done all the tests, and it's not being overloaded. The only pattern I've noticed is that Edge is always open with a lot of tabs when the crashes happen. The user has a Lenovo L16 with 32 GB of RAM, an Intel Ultra 7 processor, and an SSD running Windows. I'm starting to suspect that the browser might be the issue rather than the laptop itself. Has anyone else run into similar problems?

Sounds like a frustrating issue! Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? Also, running BlueScreenView can help you see if a specific driver is causing the crashes. Just checking for drivers updates, especially for the BIOS and video driver, might be a good idea too.
It’s hard to say for sure without the STOP codes from the BSOD. Those codes can give insight into the hardware issues. Maybe doing a memtest could help pinpoint if there’s any underlying memory issues.
From what you’ve described, Edge can be a memory hog with many tabs open. It might be worth rolling back or updating the video driver. Also, consider checking if the storage is timing out; that can lead to crashes for sure. Running Memtest86+ overnight could help you find any potential DRAM errors.

Thanks for the tips! I’ll look into both the driver updates and the Memtest.
