I'm building my first PC and just realized that my power supply unit (PSU) doesn't come with enough PCIe cables for my graphics card (GPU). It came with one PCIe cable that starts as an 8 pin and splits into two 2+6 pin connectors, which I believe is a daisy chain setup. However, my GPU actually needs two separate 8 pin to 2+6 pin PCIe cables. I've heard it's not wise to use PCIe cables from different manufacturers, which leaves me a bit stuck. Is there a way to get my system at least to the BIOS with what I have? I'm considering contacting MSI, the PSU manufacturer, but I'm worried it might take a long time to get a new cable. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

According to MSI, your PSU actually should have three 8-pin PCIe power connectors. Just double-check everything in the box to ensure you didn’t miss one. Sometimes they can be a bit tricky to spot!
Yeah, I looked at the box, and it seems the three connectors count includes the daisy chain you mentioned. It's a bit confusing for first-time builders!
