What’s the Best Graphics Card Upgrade for My PC Build?

I'm looking to upgrade my PC with a new graphics card but want to make sure it won't bottleneck with my current setup. Here's my build:
- CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 4650 PRO
- Motherboard: GIGABYTE B550M-S2H
- RAM: Crucial 2x8G DDR4-3200
- Hard Drive: 3.5 W.D 500GB Blue
- SSD: Lexar Nm620 256GB M.2 NVMe
- Case: Cooler Master CMP 500
- Power Supply: 600W

My budget is $200, which is tight since I'm in a third world country and options for gaming are limited. What graphics card would you recommend that fits within my budget and doesn't cause issues with my current components?

Your current CPU may bottleneck any new GPU you get, as it’s limited by the PCIe 3.0 interface. If you can, consider upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600 first and then get something like the RX 6700 XT or even look for a used RX 6600. You're locked at 1080p gaming, so those should do the trick!

That RX 6700 XT is a solid choice! I run it, and it handles everything smoothly at high settings.

I’d focus on getting a good SSD first for better overall performance. Since you already have a Lexar 256GB NVMe, that's great! Now, for graphics cards, I’d suggest looking for either an Nvidia GPU since they typically offer better efficiency, especially with your 600W power supply. You might want to save a bit more if you can; it could lead to a more efficient long-term upgrade.

Agreed, an SSD really boosts your system. If possible, I'd recommend waiting until you have a bit more cash for a better GPU like the RX 6700 XT if you want to game at 1080p. It should work well with your setup!

For a budget option, have you thought about a used GTX 1660 Super? They’re relatively cheap and still can handle 1080p gaming at medium settings pretty well. Also, maybe consider selling off your 4650 and upgrading to a better CPU for a smoother experience overall!

Thanks for the advice! I'm definitely considering the 1660 Super. It seems like a good balance between price and performance.
