Hey everyone! I'm putting together a PC mainly for gaming, and I'll also be doing some light 3D work and AI projects since I'm studying engineering. Here's what I have in mind for my build: Ryzen 5 7600, RTX 5060 Ti 8GB, 32GB Corsair Vengeance RAM CL30 6000 MHz, MSI B840 Gaming Plus Wi-Fi motherboard, and an Asus Prime 750 80+ Gold power supply. My main games are Valorant and Fortnite, plus maybe some older AAA titles and FIFA.
I'm wondering if it's worth it to splurge on the 16GB GPU version? Also, do you have any suggestions for parts I should change or upgrade, particularly the CPU and motherboard? I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and just want to make sure I don't regret my choices later. Thanks a ton for any advice!

I understand your budget considerations, but 16GB RAM is a solid investment for your use case. For gaming and engineering tasks, it’s super beneficial! Also, if your budget allows, check your CPU and motherboard compatibility to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Definitely go for the 16GB GPU if it's within your budget! It'll help a lot, especially with your studies and 3D work on top of gaming. Having that extra VRAM will give you more headroom for anything demanding you might run into in the future.
I totally agree! I think considering your field, 16GB is more future-proof as well.

Yeah, you'll definitely want everything to work well together, especially with the demanding stuff you'll be doing in school.
