Hey everyone! After two years of researching components, I'm finally ready to build my first PC! Here's my finalized parts list, which I plan to purchase in the next couple of months: I've got an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, an ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360 cooler, an MSI MAG X670E motherboard, 64 GB of G.Skill DDR5 memory, a Samsung 9100 PRO 2 TB SSD, a Thermaltake Ceres 500 case, a Corsair HX1000i 1000W PSU, and a set of ARCTIC P12 fans. I already have a Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor, and I'm holding off on the GPU for now until after the planned 5080 Super release, or I might go with a 9070xt or 7900xtx, depending on prices. My main question is about the power supply: is a 1000W PSU enough, or do I actually need a 1200W one since a local vendor suggested that? Also, is a 1500VA UPS sufficient for my setup, or should I consider getting a higher capacity one? I appreciate any advice since this is my first build!

What kind of tasks are you planning on using the PC for? If it's mostly gaming and a bit of photo editing in Lightroom, then you should have no issues with that PSU. Your setup sounds solid for those purposes!
You’re good with the 1000W PSU for your setup. Even an 850W would work just fine! The Corsair unit you’ve selected is top-notch, so it can handle the load easily. As for the UPS, a 1500VA is pretty much spot on for this build. Jumping to a higher capacity would be more expensive and generally unnecessary unless you're planning on adding a ton more components down the line.
I’ll mainly be focusing on single-player gaming, along with some work in Lightroom. So yeah, it's primarily a gaming rig!
